Author: Keith Ramsay
Are you planning to take part in a cycle event, or do you have a challenging cycle route you want to tackle over the next few months? Why not help stop children being trafficked in Nepal by raising funds for TEAR Fund’s Poverty Cycle projects at the same time?
Chart Your Own Challenge gives you the flexibility to plan your own cycle challenge and get sponsors to support you. By registering your ride with TEAR Fund’s Poverty Cycle www.povertycycle.org.nz , you will have the added satisfaction that after completing your challenge, you will have made a real and lasting difference in the world. TEAR Fund’s target is to raise $200,000 to help prevent children being trafficked from Nepal into India and supporting two projects aimed at helping mothers and their babies in the developing world. In addition, you will also be helping at-risk youth here in New Zealand through Brothers in Arms. You can achieve so much by registering your ride in TEAR Fund’s Poverty Cycle.
